We’re just short of halfway through the YTT 2012 EP’s, this one is episode 7 and it features four performances with Tia getting the solo opportunity.

YTT 2012 fans are once again lucky that Gary86 put most of the songs on to YouTube and preventing most of the YTT 2012 team’s work from disappearing from history.

‘Straight Lines’ was a No. 1 hit for silverchair in 2007, it was their first No. 1 single in ten years and their third and last No. 1 single overall, the band would have all five of their studio albums hit No. 1 in Australia.

Tia was up to bat for the team and she delivered with ‘Empire State of Mind’, this song was originally recorded by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys and peaked at No. 4 in Australia and reached No. 1 in America.

As with the other members of the team, this performance was Tia’s only solo effort, she would be credited with sharing a song six times from Episode 8 onwards.

‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)’ is a rendition of a Stevie Wonder song from 1970, it had peaked at No. 3 in America and is well remembered by fans for the song being a ‘funky beat swinger’.

The short and sweet song to finish off Episode 7 was ‘Baby’ which was an all-in song, it came in at a very short one minute and twenty-six seconds, it is the second last song that run for under two minutes and had closed the show.
